David GarciaDave Garcia:

Dave Garcia was born in South El Paso on December 17, 1953. He went to St.Patrick Elementary School before attending prep school at Jesuit Preparatory. In 1972 he started college at University of Dallas, then finished at Southern Methodist University in Journalism.

During that summer while on his way to Nursing School, KTSM TV came calling. Since David had worked at KROD radio between school semesters, the move to a full-time radio job seemed logical.   Read more about Dave

Now Juarez police say they are so ticked, they don't want to work

The Juárez Police department is a mess right now. Now we hear some city police officers plan to go on a "labor strike." All because of the Mexican army soldiers and federal police patrolling the city across the U.S. border from El Paso. The troops are here to fight organized crime in Juarez.

The Mayor Jose Reyes Ferriz says hw wants to ferret out bad officers. And he backs the Federal build up ion his city, and adds don’t worry there will be lawmen on Juarez streets.
