Another Road Rage Shooting!

Gun shots on Yarbrough is the latest in a rash of road rage shootings to grab the cops’ attention. NewsRadio’s Rene Leon is here live with a story that involved two teen ager girls?

El Paso Police nabbed two teenage girls in a shooting that went down yesterday afternoon.

Claudia Gomez, who is 17-years-old, and an unidentified 16-year-old girl, were arrested for allegedly shooting at another vehicle while cruising up Yarbrough near the 10.

Elaine Montelongo and her passengers noticed they were being tailed by a small gray car driven by Gomez. Gomez pulled next to Montelongo and began shouting at her. Gomez then leaned out her window and fired off a shot at Montelongo. The bullet hit the car, but no one inside was hurt. The Police Gang Unit Drive-By Shooting Response Team immediately tackled the case and arrested Gomez and her underaged sidekick.  Gomez is staring at five counts of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity involving Aggravated Assault and Aggravated Assault With A Deadly Weapon. She was booked into the slammer under a $125,000 bond.  Her unnamed cohort faces the same charges and was handed over to the Juvenile Probation Department. The shooting is gang related.
