In Step Brothers, Ferrell plays Brennan Huff, a sporadically employed thirty-nine-year-old who lives with his mother, Nancy Mary Steenburgen. Reilly plays Dale Doback, a terminally unemployed forty-year-old who lives with his father, Robert Richard Jenkins.

Choke
The story of a con man named Victor who rips people off to pay for his mothers nursing home care. His scam is to go into restaurants and then force himself to choke on his food midway through his meal. When someone comes over to save his life, he keeps a record of their name and address. Having now weeded out the good Samaritans from the cynics, he then sends them letters about fictitious financial troubles and invariably they feel sorry for him and send him money.

After two years of living in So Paulo, Hermila returns to her village in northeastern Brazil with her newborn son, anxiously awaiting the arrival of her husband. Time passes slowly and the wait becomes an even heavier burden as she begins to realize that shes been abandoned.
