More than $880,000 in federal dollars are in the pipeline to El Paso. More than $366-thousand will go to the Sheriff’s Office for technology and communication upgrades, and new law enforcement equipment. The Tigua Pueblo gets more than $66-thou to support their Native American law enforcement agency. They’ll spend it on basic equipment, crime fighting technology systems, and training. The El Paso School District gets almost half a million dollars to improve and strengthen their emergency management plans.
