The disgraced Las Cruces deacon, didn't want to go to his first court date

That Disgraced deacon in Las Cruces opted out of his court appearance. That’s when he found out that along with not able to contact 17 year olds, he also cannot go to his church.

He can go to anoterh church or worship at home but he can't go back to his old church.Terry Gibson, who’s 55, got out of jail when he put up $150,000 cash bond. The former deacon of a Las Cruces church waived his appearance. And even though he didn’t go he was arraigned on sexual exploitation charges.  Gibson is accused of secretly video taping the genitalia of girls and women for his own sexual pleasure at his Las Cruces home, and even at the Mesilla Valley Mall. Because the shot were only parts of the woman's or girl's body, they can't tell if they are several shots of the same woman or if there could be hundreds of exploited women.

Gibson was turned in by his family member, who found sexual material on Gibson's computer. He pleaded not guilty.

(Low rating for misspelling) I'm confused. Why would he plead not guilty with the amount of evidence against him?
