El Paso County Commissioners thought better about giving themselves a raise, but this morning the County Judge like the idea, so he’ll still push for his $20 grand raise. People were outraged by the way county leaders went about their proposal especially since there were no pay raises for county employees were included in the budget. So this morning while there’s a small raise for the average worker, the pay raises for County Judge Anthony Cobos, County Attorney Jose Rodriguez and District Attorney Jaime Esparza – the highest paid employees in the county are still in their plan.
