There’s a new Chief in Town,

There’s a new Chief in Town, and he just happens to be the present Chief too. Greg Allen is the city’s new police chief.

El Paso City Manager let the word out for today’s city council meeting.

43 candidates wanted the job

Allen was born in El Paso, a Bel Air High and UTEP Grad. He’s been a deputy chief for a while, and says it’s all about being fast to react.

He succeeds Richard Wiles, who like NewsRadio has told you, is in a runoff election to become El Paso County Sheriff.
