A Chamberino, N.M. volunteer firefighter is in real trouble this morning and fire has nothing to do with it. 23-year-old Dominic Medina supposedly used county-issued gas cards meant to fuel firetrucks, to charge almost 9-thousand dollars. They say the 23-year-old Medina admits he used the stolen cards to buy gas for anyone who paid him $35. That’s not all, they’ve accused Medina of pawning a DVD player and GPS device he stole from the fire station. This morning Medina is staring at doing time for two counts of fraudulent use of a credit card and one count of larceny. He’s in jail and will stay there until he comes up with $50,000 for a cash bond.
