David Arenas, who’s 36, surrendered at the Las Cruces Police Department headquarters with his lawyer. Now Arenas is charged with Kidnapping and Criminal Sexual Penetration and for False Imprisonment and Impersonating a Peace Officer. The last two because he pulled over a woman in Las Cruces.  As NewsRadio already told you, it looks like Arenas picked up a woman up at the Alamogordo library by acting like a Border Patrol agent. They say he raped her then moved on to Dona Ana County where he pretended to be a Border Patrol agent that's  when he pulled over a female employee of the district attorney's office. Nothing happened to her. If Arenas can come up with a $125,000 bond he can walk free.
