A news conference just to say they are not involved

 Our County Judge Anthony Cobos and County Commissioner Luis Sariñana called a news conference just to say they are not involved in the bribery scandal at the root of the FBI’s corruption investigation.

It seems, as NewsRadio has already told you, it’s because when Former El Paso City Councilman Raymond Telles pleaded guilty  to bribery he named members of the county commission involved in the scheme.

However, now every member of the commissioners court  denies they got any money in exchange for votes.
