She was hit by a car and dragged to death

A Teenager killed in early-morning hit-and-run.

Brenda Brito was leaving a party when a guy ran her over and dragged her yards before he stopped. Brenda was  17, and lived on Desoto. The sedan driver’s name is still under wraps because it looks like he ran from the scene, then gave himself up. That could mean more charges. It was late when the party on Lowenstein and Harris in the Lower Valley turn very bad and parties started to get out of there.. Brito got stuck underneath the car when she tried to cross the street. Both Brito and the driver were at the party and were part of the scene when Partiers started to run when a fight broke out. The driver ran over Brito when he was leaving the area, She died right there, becoming the 26th traffic death of the year.
