It wasn’t even close and you can bet city El Paso city council will hear about their stand against the Border fence.
But the whole council voted against allowing the Fed’s to use a city road to build the 18 foot high steel fence.
There’s already a fence there on the river, but the idea of a higher more intimidating fence has a lot of El Pasoans’ upset this morning.
Existing fences would be replaced on a 12-1/2 mile stretch outside the city.
