Every lawman in New Mexico is on the look out for Kurt Sohrbeck.

Every lawman in New Mexico is on the look out for 53-year old Kurt Sohrbeck. They think he’s the guy who shot a Lincoln County sheriff's sergeant. This morning there’s an attempted murder warrant with his name on it.

It looks like he shot Sgt. Robert Shepperd in the head, upper chest and left arm, after a wild chase through the Ruidoso back roads. Shepperd is hanging on at El Paso’s County Hospital.
