Deputies are getting a grip on what happened when they had to break down a door and take down a 45 year old guy who tried to smother a 15 year old girl. Pablo Esqueda, who’s 42 is waking up in jail this morning after he locked himself in a room. When deputies kicked down the door, he put up a struggle but not enough to call for back up, Escajeda is the ex-boyfriend of the woman who lives there, but she wasn’t home. He just let himself in with his key. He still won’t say what he was trying to do when he started to smother the girl, but when she broke free he locked the door and threatened to kill himself with a knife.
