The guy in the Speedos may be a cop

If you are up at the lake for the holiday and someone wanders up to your picnic it may be a DPS officer in plainclothes, maybe even in a speedos. The New Mexico DPS will patrol the beaches of Elephant Butte this Memorial Day.

Not only there, but plain clothes officers, hopefully not in speedos, will be also watching near by bars in Truth or Consequences.

They’re there to make sure everyone is old enough to drink and everyone is following state liquor laws.
