The paperwork is in this morning so, officially three El Pasoans have asked a judge to stop the city and the El Paso Water Utilities from collecting stormwater fees and to declare the whole Stormwater utility district illegal.
Ray Gilbert Jr., Joe Dominguez and Dr. Charles Cavaretta have also asked County Court-at-Law 3 Judge Javier Alvarez to stop the fee because, the city lacked doesn’t have the power to charge drainage fees. We’ll find out more when it goes to court on June 6.
