NewsRadio, FirstNews can now update you on two pretty lucky drivers… that is when you consider the serious wrecks through which they lived. We started the morning telling you about the crash on the 10 near Trans Mountain Road when the driver of a delivery truck slammed into the back of a parked 18-wheeler. Banged up his legs and tore himself up but this morning he’s resting in the hospital and it looks like he’ll make it.
By the end of the morning we were telling you about 55-year old Jorge Dueñes. He drove off a cliff on Trans Mountain Road and landed in a ravine.
He’s the guy we told you called emergency workers himself on his cell phone. He rescue crews to find him. It looks like he’s going to make it too.
