This morning the DA says the sheriff doesn’t have a case against UT El Paso basketball star Shefon Jackson, so he’s not going to take the UTEP senior to court. With that Stefon Jackson will not face criminal charges for hindering apprehension. It looked like Jackson gave his cousin Willie Harden, who was wanted for attempted murder in Pittsburgh, a place to stay in El Paso, along with his friend Lamar Reid, a man wanted for murder out of Philadelphia. KROD’s Duke Keith will have more later this morning in sports.
