---That 10-dollar fee, we first told you about on First News isn’t going over that well in Las Cruces.

In fact City council may not put the idea on the books.

It was a way of raising the 2-million dollars it takes to maintain the city’s parks and rec centers. 

Some say the fee should have been charged a long time ago, others say they already pay for the parks with tax dollars.
