An Alamogordo man will do life for beating to death his baby. A judge made sure 28-year-old Larry Pone, should never get out of prison because he brutally beat his 5-week-old daughter. He’ll do life plus 13½ years in prison. Pone, was convicted of first-degree child abuse, because his daughter, Merissa Kishbaugh died from massive injuries. The trouble started when the baby slipped in a bathtub and he threw her across the room and her head banged against a door frame. The baby had retinal hemorrhages in both eyes, a depressed skull fracture and blunt force trauma.
