More heart breaking testimony is expected to continue this morning in the re-sentencing trial of convicted child murderer David Renteria. He’s already supposed to die for killing little 5 year old Alexandra Flores. And even though Renteria had bee convicted of indecency with a child in 1994 his consular never saw signs of a murderer. Norma Reed treated Renteria after that offense for nearly seven years for sexually abusing the 8-year-old daughter of a female friend. The sentencing part of his murder trial is happening again, because of a technicality in his first trial.
He still faces life or death and the DA still wants death. Everyone should be back in the court room later this morning.
