Three El Paso doctors are in real trouble

The Texas Medical Board has taken disciplinary actions against three El Paso doctors for a variety of things.

The Texas Medical Board has sanctioned

Drs. Jose J. Silva,

Khai-Lihn V. Ho, and

Miguel B. Samonte Jr.

Starting with Silva for prescribing pain medications to himself. Dr. Ho was cited for failing to quote: “meet the standard of care for patient safety during laparoscopic surgery.

and Samonte for changing a patient’s record.

All three doctors admitted their mistakes and will pay their fines.
