 Pools are cool Minimize
Pools are cool

Home owners can enjoy their pools this summer, and save a few bucks,
too. City council voted to let a committee draft a new proposal that
won't include having to build a taller set of walls around your pool.
Opponents had said that the walls wouldn't keep a kid from sneaking
into the pool, anyway. City reps also decided that downtown's Franklin
street will stay open. That might help Sun Metro's problem with
running their buses, but busriders will still have that target painted
on them as they run to catch buses there. -DW
