It sounds like a movie script but it’s true life on El Paso streets

- It sounds  like a movie script but it’s true life on El Paso streets. A guy is just walking long the Patriot Freeway was shot at just because his ran out of gas and was spotted by rival gang members. NewsRadio brought you the story of Gilbert Michael Ontiveros, who’s 18, and waking up in jail this morning along with18 year old Angel Omar Saenz. They’re looking at some serious time for engaging in organized criminal activity-criminal, attempted murder and car burglary charges. The guy who was shot at is still in danger so we’re keeping is name under wraps but he was walking along the northbound lanes near the Pershing exit when the three men stopped to confront him. The guys went after him with rocks and a metal bar, and even chased the victim, across the highway. When he ran off they ransacked his car and stole the  stereo. When the victim came back the three guys were waiting for him. That’s when Ontiveros supposedly fired twice.  He missed, but barely that’s about the time the police arrived and busted Ontiveros, Saenz and 36-year old -year Johnny Smith.
