El Paso is bucking the trend
El Paso is bucking the trend

This is one time it’s good to not be part of what’s going on in the rest of the nation. While homeowners across America are losing their homes, new numbers this morning show the number of home foreclosures in El Paso last year actually dropped 16.1 percent.

El Paso had 2,317 homes in some stage of foreclosure last year, but that’s down 445 foreclosures. Still, that’s one foreclosure for every 105 households. That’s almost two times better than the rest of the country where one out of every 57 homes are being foreclosed and one per every 60 homes in Texas.
